Marrakech the Beautiful

Our time in Marrakech has been amazing. We’re sad to be leaving, but excited to head into the Atlas Mountains for the next leg of the program!

Jardin Majorelle! He collected plants all around the world. Jardin Majorelle is known to be one of the the most beautiful garden in Morocco.
Sunsets in Medina are beautiful.
Chad’s on rags! This is a practice rug. The Berbers make all types of different rugs, many of which are gender and event specific (pregnancy, weddings, etc). These are gifted at important events and can take up to 6 years to make!

Algeria wins the final of the African Cup of Nations. This was their second championship in history. Senegal has never won it 🙁
Sophia is trying the Berber violin! This instruments has been used for hundreds of years and it is very difficult to play.
